In its first phase, this project focuses on the creation of a virtual educational program to train Venezuelan entrepreneurs. The academic structure of the program addresses both business issues and topics related to management skills (public speaking, leadership, and management of high-impact work teams). This educational program will empower entrepreneurs to face the new economic realities.
We are a multidisciplinary team of more than 30 professionals with a clear purpose: To transform the lives of Venezuelans who wish to prosper from their entrepreneurship.
We have worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs in Venezuela and abroad. In this migratory wave that has displaced more than 5.4 million Venezuelans (according to OAS figures), there are people, that are entrepreneurs in other latitudes, and they also require business training.
Our goal in this first phase is to train 1,000 entrepreneurs. However, to create this program, we need your help!

Additional goals
18,500 Creation of an educational program entitled "Smart Marketing". The beneficiaries of this program will be 1,000 Venezuelan entrepreneurs. This educational program will offer traditional marketing and digital marketing strategies to (a) identify opportunities in your environment (b) enhance your product or service, (c) break into the market, (d) satisfy existing needs in the market, (e) find your ideal customer and (f) design marketing strategies adjusted to existing resources and capabilities.
27,000 Creation of an educational program entitled "Music and Entrepreneurship". The beneficiaries of this program will be 1,000 Venezuelan musicians. This educational program will offer knowledge of digital marketing and entrepreneurship so that a musician can manage his or her brand on social networks, as well as create his or her own business and live from his or her passion.
In Venezuela, during the last few years, thousands of ventures have been generated for both personal and commercial brands. Venezuelans have found in entrepreneurship an opportunity to surf the economic crisis. However, the failure rate is super high. In this regard, the Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Administración (IESA) indicated that 20% of Venezuelans of legal age have already started a business, but only 1.5% have been in business for more than three years.
The main factor of failure is attributed to the lack of business training. The business world not only demands offering a quality product or service. It also demands to be involved with topics such as finance, marketing, sales, leadership, human talent management, among others. These topics are becoming part of their daily lives.
To the extent that an ecosystem such as the entrepreneurial one is better prepared, better entrepreneurship and projects will develop. In other words, education will make the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Venezuela stronger.
WHY THIS PROJECT?
In the last decade, the news about Venezuela has always been negative. Shortages, humanitarian crisis, the highest inflation on the planet, falling GDP, high corruption rates, collaboration with terrorist groups; are the headlines shared by the different international media.
Behind this negative scenario, there are passionate Venezuelans who are creating excellent products or services. Creativity exploded with the crisis, Venezuelans reinvented themselves and want to prosper.
We want to contribute with education to our country. We have facilitators in Venezuela, also in Europe, and the United States. All of them with a professional trajectory of great importance. We are ILOAprende, an educational technology platform that markets courses in the format of pre-recorded video lessons with high-quality standards.
Our pre-production, production, and post-production process is at the level of any educational platform in Latin America and Europe.
As part of our social responsibility program, we undertook this initiative, and with your support, we will succeed!
THE PRODUCT
The proposed educational program will be delivered virtually, under an asynchronous teaching modality. The instructional design of the program, foresees the recording of classes, the creation of theoretical resources and downloadable templates, as well as a group accompaniment to reinforce the competencies acquired with the classes.
The program is structured in modules and has an estimated duration of 16 academic hours. Once students complete the program, they will receive access to a virtual community to periodically participate in conferences related to entrepreneurship, given by internationally renowned instructors.
Something important to highlight is that we will use microlearning as an alternative to facilitate the understanding of the contents, that is to say, we will fragment the contents in small capsules. This is a technique that has been used with great success and excellent results by companies such as Google, Unilever, or IBM.
On the other hand, our methodology will be Learning-by-Doing. All the contents will have a practical vision, we seek that everything we offer as didactic and informative material can be applied in the daily life of the entrepreneur.
The training will be hosted on our platform ILOAprende.com and entrepreneurs can access it from their computer or through their smartphone, as we have an app for cell phones. The group coaching sessions and lectures will be conducted synchronously through a streaming platform but will be recorded so that those entrepreneurs who cannot attend can watch the class on a deferred basis.
The "Smart Entrepreneurship" educational program will cover topics of interest for business management, such as business model, marketing, sales, finance, costs, corporate image, creativity and innovation, and management skills (public speaking, leadership, and team management).

RISKS
The development of this program requires a complex process of pre-production, production, and post-production. For example, each facilitator must draft the scripts to be read on the teleprompter, as well as make a preliminary design of their slides and support material. These resources will then move to the graphic design phase so that the editing of the course can be completed.
Electricity and Internet services are essential when producing these educational programs. The conditions of these utilities in Venezuela are not optimal, but we have stipulated within the development of the project a margin of error in the recording and editing process, based on the experience of previous recordings under this format and methodology. Therefore, we estimate that once the requested resources are awarded, the "Smart Entrepreneurship" program will be produced within four (4) months.
